This clock was originally designed by E.T. Westbury and published as a serial in Model Engineer in 1958. There were one or two problems in the original design but these have now been sorted out and the description updated with many more photographs. The castings for the back plate have been unobtainable for many years but these are now available again. The suppliers of these castings together with all the other materials required are given in the book. The clock is similar in appearance to the master type of clock with a one second pendulum and uses the Scotts notched tooth principle of pendulum propulsion. The drive to the hands is also taken from the notched tooth count wheel. A 4 1/2 volt d.c. supply is required to operate the clock and an accuracy of a few seconds a week should be obtained. Now includes the construction of the case.

The lathe featured is the Myford ML7 There are 49 pages and over 120 illustrations
